Meet Drs Trang Tran and Donna Pham, Optometrists

Dr. Trang Tran, Therapeutic Optometrist, Glaucoma Specialist

Dr. Trang Tran is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She earned her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry from the Sunshine State of Florida in 2000. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society during her studies. Her externship includes the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami where she learned from the best optometrists and ophthalmologists. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minored in Psychology from the University of Houston. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.

Dr. Tran has been practicing for over 20 years in the Houston community. She enjoys taking care of her patient’s vision needs and loves adopting new technologies into practice.

Dr. Donna Pham, Therapeutic Optometrist

Earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 1995 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. I began my career in private practice next to Walmart, then opened The Sharper Vision in 2010, where I had the privilege of serving my patients through 2025. In 2026, I look forward to beginning a new chapter with Spectrum Eyecare.

I believe in treating every patient like family. Over the years, I’ve been honored to care for patients across three generations—watching families grow while continuing to care for their vision has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.
